Mai Dive

Mai Dive offers a taste of the real Fiji with adventure, fantastic diving and snorkeling, simple yet comfortable accommodation, fresh and plentiful food and the feeling that you belong and are a part of the family.

Set on 47 acres of picturesque surroundings with a beautiful half mile long beach Mai Dive is an awe inspiring sight. The backdrop to the resort is thick tropical jungle ambling up a steep mountain, which once climbed gives you the most beautiful view of the many small islands of the North Astrolabe.

Accommodation: There are only 5 bures which are strung across the resort, all beachfront just meters to the sand. Each bure has 24 hour electricity, wireless internet, fan cooling, screened windows, mosquito nets, private deck, outside ensuite bathroom, open hot water shower, outdoor chairs and your very own hammock. All bures have the same internal configuration although they are different sizes to cater for different size parties: singles, couples and families. There is also the ability to merge 2 of the adjoined bures to create a large accommodation, just like a house – perfect for larger families and groups

Ono Island: Dive Central for Kadavu.

Right on Mai Dive’s doorstep, enjoy magnificent diving on the Great Astrolabe Reef, the 4th-largest barrier reef in the world. There are drift dives in big open passages like Naqoro & Vesi, rocks with fantastic swim through’ s and many coral bombies to explore. Enjoy many pristine reef walls on the outside of the Astrolabe reef with coral pinnacles or slowly make your way around beautiful coral formations inside the lagoon.

We are the 25 miles from Kadavu Airport – but look at the access you get the the Great Astrolabe Reef from Ono Island. We can dive north, south, east and west in an easy 30-minute boat ride
